Not perfect, but does what it does rather well.

Im a novice about the tech behind digital audio recording, but my experience with using the app has been good.

The option to change recording quality is very useful for those of us stuck on 16Gb phones.

The app does look a but dated, however, and I have lost a file or two (among dozens) during recording, for reasons I am not sure about (I believe it doesnt like being interrupted by phone calls and other notifications).

The free version also has rather distracting ads (which I always end up clicking on without wanting to) so premium is probably worth it to avoid the hassle. Sad that this is now the only way developers think they can generate income, but thats another question.

Otherwise, I am favorably disposed to the app, and would therefore recommend it to anyone who is looking to do better than the native voice memo app.
